La Compañía de Jesús (Church of the Society of Jesus)

Description: Often considered the most beautiful church in Ecuador, La Compañía de Jesús is a stunning example of Baroque architecture. Constructed over 160 years, beginning in 1605, its interior is adorned with gold leaf, gilded plaster, and elaborate wood carvings. The intricate altars, ceilings, and walls are all covered in gold, making it a truly breathtaking sight.

Basílica del Voto Nacional (Basilica of the National Vow)
